Is any generative AI used in Big Cloud Music compositions?
Not at all. Big Cloud Music is strictly 100% human-created. I don’t use AI in my music—period. Every track is written, performed, recorded, and mixed by hand using real instruments and traditional studio workflows. This gives you clean copyright, no machine-learning liability, and a simple clearance experience for your project.
Can you tailor an existing catalog track—or compose a custom score—to fit a specific edit?
Absolutely. I approach scoring with the same technical precision I apply to code. If a track hits the right mood but requires a tailored build, custom cut-down, or alternate ending, I can revise it directly to picture. For projects requiring a unique sonic footprint, I offer custom scoring designed from the ground up for broadcast-ready delivery.
Big Cloud Music is based in Northwestern NJ—do you work remotely or in person?
While my production workflow is optimized for seamless remote collaboration, I always value direct communication. My studio in Warren County, NJ provides a quiet environment for deep focus, while remaining convenient to the NYC and Philadelphia metro areas for in-person meetings or creative briefs over coffee.
Are stems, cut-downs, or alternate mixes available?
Yes. Full stem packages (percussion, bass, harmonic beds, lead melodies) and alt-mixes (such as underscores or drum-mute versions) are available upon request. I can also deliver targeted edit lengths—including 15, 30, and 60-second cut-downs or stingers—to match your exact timing requirements.
What is the difference between a Sync License and a Work-for-Hire Buyout?
A Sync License grants rights to use a track within a specific visual project, while I retain underlying catalog ownership. A Work-for-Hire Buyout is an exclusive agreement where you acquire 100% of both the Master and Publishing rights—ideal for custom scoring, original themes, or brand identity assets requiring total ownership without ongoing backend reporting.
Is the catalog registered and cleared for broadcast and digital media?
Yes. I am affiliated with BMI as both writer and publisher, and my catalog carries a dedicated ISRC prefix for clean tracking and metadata delivery. Every licensed track is safe for broadcast television, film, streaming platforms, and commercial digital campaigns.
